Dual education
Basic information about the dual education system at STATON, s.r.o.
Currently, attention is being paid to linking vocational education in schools with the acquisition of practical skills at the employer. In the 2026/2027 school year, STATON, s.r.o. Stredná odborná škola polytechnická and Business academy Martin offer cooperation within the dual education system.
The dual education system allows for practical training to be carried out in the premises of our company STATON, s.r.o., Sadová 1148, 038 53 Turany from the second year for Stredná odborná škola polytechnická and from the first year for Business academy Martin .
Practical training in the dual education system is only possible with a student whose legal representatives (parents) and the student themselves conclude an apprenticeship contract with our company. This is preceded by submitting an application to the dual education system and a selection procedure with the student directly with us.
Dual education in the 2026/2027 school year will be carried out in the following fields (Stredná odborná škola polytechnická):
- Programmer of machine tools and welding equipment (4-year study field)
- Mechanic Electrical Engineer (4-year study field)
- Mechanic Adjuster (4-year study field)
- Metalworker (3-year study field)
Dual education in the 2026/2027 school year will be carried out in the following fields (Business academy):
- Business academy 6317 M (4-year study field)
STATON, s.r.o. offers dual education students:
- Acquiring work experience already during high school
- An instructor who is dedicated to students
- A company scholarship defined in the apprenticeship contract
- Reward for productive work defined in the apprenticeship contract
- Coverage of travel costs for practical training
- Meals during practical training
- Workwear and protective work equipment
- Possibility of obtaining a job position after graduation
Criteria for selecting successful applicants determined by STATON, s.r.o.
The selection of applicants for the conclusion of an apprenticeship contract will be carried out on the basis of:
- Interview with the applicant
- Evaluation of study results
